  1. What information do I need when I call? - Please leave dates of boarding, type of bird, your name and phone number.

  2. Do I need to bring my bird's cage? - No.  We will supply your bird with an appropriately sized cage.  Please do bring favorite toys and your bird's sleeping perch.

  3. What if my bird gets sick while I am away? - Your bird will immediately be taken to Niles Animal Hospital.  You are responsible for any charges incurred for your bird's medical care.  You will be notified as soon as possible - please remember that your bird's health is our primary concern and that you will be called only after your bird's emergency is taken care of by a veterinarian.

  4. Why the medical exam requirement? - Foremost, it is recommended for the health of your bird.  Secondly, we need to protect our other client's birds.

  5. Do you help with aggression and other behavioral problems? - No, but we highly recommend that you contact Michelle at the "Polite Parrot" website or at 815-941-0514.

  6.  What other paperwork is required?  In addition to the

       medical verification paperwork, a Boarding Agreement must be

       signed.  The agreement is in Acrobat Adobe (pdf) format.
